About PeaceLoveArtGoods

PeaceLoveArtGoods is the creative outlet of Sheila Sheorn. Living as a curious soul, she has always been interested in colors, patterns, and design construction, which resulted in a 25 year career in kitchen & bath design.

She has a diverse range of interests when it comes to her artistic expression, spanning multiple mediums in many forms. As a result, she is a prolific artist, with people often exclaiming, "Wait! You make ALL of this?" Yes, she does.

ART:  Sheila enjoys many art mediums including pen and ink, watercolor, acrylic, oil, cold wax, and encaustic, all shown via paper, canvas, collage, or wood... or sometimes more than one of these.  Most works are flat but some have a structural element to them. There are currently some 3D items in the works! While she is primarily self taught, she does take an occasional class so that she is exposed to lots of like-minded people and the skills of others!

JEWELRY:  While some jewelry is constructed of currated pieces, other works are Sheila's own, whether formed in wire wrapping or via her creations in polyclay. A favorite method of creating jewelry is her link method... putting lots of many different beads onto separate links and selecting from those beads to create one of a kind necklaces, bracelets and earrings with lots of interest and texture, not to mention color, that come together via the different beads to form a great piece of wearable art.

SEWING/WEAVING:  Sheila's initial interest in sewing came about from creating a quilt.  The variety of fabric colors and patterns that are available is astonishing and exciting to her.  So she moved on to create other items, including her "seamless wristlet" that has been popular! Eventually, she also found that working with rope and fabric can be interesting... stylish rope bowls are fun to make and taking them up a notch with color, fabric, and decorative elements is so compelling!

Sheila currently lives in metro Atlanta with her husband (the love of her life!) and a number of spoiled furkids.
